The AquaFlux needs to
be connected to a desktop or laptop PC for data capture,
display, and storage. A fully configured and tested PC can
be purchased with the AquaFlux. However, configuring and testing costs
money and it is generally more economical to install the AquaFlux software
on a user machine that conforms to the following minimum specifications:-
Screen resolution > 1024*600 pixels
Processor
speed > 500MHz
Main memory > 256MByte
Hard disk > 4GBytes
free capacity
One spare USB port
The AquaFlux software is compatible with all current 32-bit Windows™ workstation
operating systems (XP/Vista/7). However, 64-bit
editions of Vista/7 are not currently supported. Click
here for a work-around
using virtual machine software.
Software installation
requires full administrator rights,
but this is not necessary for subsequent use. Software and documentation
are supplied on a USB flash drive. Free software
updates are available from the Support section of this website, see
top navigator.
