The minimum hardware specification is a PC or laptop computer with a screen resolution of 1024*768 pixels, a processor speed of 500MHz, a main memory of 256MByte, a hard disk with 4GBytes of space and one spare USB port.

The minimum operating system specification is Windows™ 2000. Windows XP and Vista are preferred, but they require higher performing hardware to work. Our current recommendation is to use Windows Vista, because we find that it performs more reliably.

Software installation requires full administrator rights, but this is not necessary for subsequent use. Software and documentation are supplied on a USB flash drive. Free software updates are available from this website, see left navigator.
