Biox Systems Ltd
Biox is a spin-out company from London South Bank University (LSBU),
registered in October 2000, with backing from the university (through
SBU Enterprises Ltd) and the London Business Innovation Centre (LBIC).
Its aim is to exploit innovations from LSBU's Photophysics
Research Centre, starting with its patented condenser-chamber method
for measuring water vapour flux density.
Biox is primarily an R&D company whose main mission is to develop
novel instruments for skin bioengineering. Much of the manufacturing is
sub-contracted, but design and quality control and are performed in-house.
Currently, Biox handles world-wide sales and support-related activities
without going through agents or distributors. This is practical, since
contact via e-mail is quick, and our products are small and rugged enough
to be shipped anywhere with speed, economy and safety. Through direct
contact with our users, we can ensure that they get the best advice and
service from us. In return, we enjoy the direct contact with our users
and view their feedback as essential for the further development of the
company and its products.
