Biox will be exhibiting the AF200 AquaFlux at the 29th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society This meeting is being held in the Convention Center, “Cité Internationale”, Lyon, France in conjunction with the biennial Conference of the French Society of Biological and Medical Engineering (SFGBM). The dates are August 23-26, 2007.

Biox will be demonstrating the new AF200 AquaFlux at the SCV Conference, July 11-13, in Cardiff. Biox researchers have also contributed to three poster presentations, as follows:-

We've re-developed our website using modern technology based on templates and stylesheets. The old website had problems keeping itself together, because the content was separate from the navigation frames.

The basic conversion is now complete. Some pieces are still missing and others are in need of updating, but it is usable. We are looking forward to adding new content, especially applications details, over the next few weeks. Our thanks go to our ex-trainees, Stéphane & Fabien from the Nancy Ecole des Mines, for their splendid contributions to this development.

The Skin Forum, a focus group of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, is holding its 8th Annual Meeting at the University of London School of Pharmacy on April 3-4. This meeting is preceeded on Monday April 2nd by a one-day meeting on drug delivery across the nail.

Biox personnel will be participating in both events. Bob Imhof is presenting an invited talk entitled Nails and Water at the one-day meeting. In addition, three poster at the Forum meeting feature Biox personnel as co-authors. As usual, we will make presentations involving AquaFlux measurements available in pdf format in the Library section of this website.

Apart from the above scientific contributions, Biox is also making a contribution to the free interchange of (scientific) ideas by sponsoring the wine at the all important forum dinner.
