September 2008:- 17th EADV Congress, Paris


Bob Imhof (Biox) and Gert Nilsson (WheelsBridge AB, Sweden) will be sharing Booth P128 at this congress (http://www.eadv2008.com/). This may be a good occasion to discuss open vs closed measurement chamber questions!


May 2008:- SCC Suppliers' Day , Edison, NJ, USA


STE, Inc, our representatives in North America, will be exhibiting the AquaFlux alongside their other skin test instrumentation (Neurometer & Venustron) at the SCC Suppliers' Day meeting in the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, Edison, New Jersey, USA on May 13-14. You'll find George Kramer in Booth 638.


May 2008:- ISBS International Meeting, Seoul, Korea


We're really looking forward to this, the first joint meeting of the ISBS (International Society of Biophysics and Imaging of Skin) and the ISDIS (International Society for Digital Imaging of Skin). Biox personnel have contributed to the following poster presentations:-

Barrier integrity testing with a condenser-chamber TEWL instrument

In-vivo stratum corneum thickness and water diffusion coefficient measurements using opto-thermal radiometry and condenser-chamber TEWL method

Skin capacitance imaging for surface profiles and dynamic water concentration measurements

The first of these is now available for download is the Publications section of this website.


March 2008:-  11th PPP Conference, La Grande Motte, France
