Software Overview
|
The AquaFlux software runs on
a (user-supplied) PC or laptop computer and communicates with the AF200
via a real-time USB connection. The software provides functions for measurement,
calibration, display and storage. All functions are easily reached via
buttons, tabs and drop-down menus. Below is a typical screenshot showing
the Measurement display window after a TEWL measurement.

Currently there are four graphical display
windows that can be viewed at any time, simply by clicking on the tabs
(top left).
A unique feature is the Sensors display window, see below, where recent
readings from all seven sensors (two for RH & four for temperature) are
displayed. This gives clear information for interpreting the measurements.
|
 |
All measurements are accessed via the Control
Panel., bottom right of the program window and shown enlarged below.
|
| |
 |
Here you set the parameters of the measurements, with all settings easily
accessible.
Data are saved automatically in Excel-compatible, TAB-delimited text
files. Below is an example of a TEWL file.

Software development is ongoing and updates are
freely available from this website. We use 32-bit ActiveX technology to
enable integration with databases. |
